The European Research Council (ERC) has announced a number of updates to its grant evaluation procedures as well as to the upcoming Work Programmes for 2026 and 2027. These changes are intended to streamline the proposal evaluation process, adjust eligibility rules, and improve the overall application experience for researchers applying to ERC funding schemes.
